Anyone moving to the DFW area will be pleasantly surprised at the amenities that abound in central Texas. The diversity of things to do, including major sports, festivals, weekend events, boating, golf, fine restaurants, rides and places to travel should satisfy even the most avid resident.

Heading out in any direction from the Dallas Ft. Worth area will lead to a new adventure. Full day rides will take you to the mountains of New Mexico, South Padre Island and the Border, Cajun crawdad feasts in Louisiana, or the mountains and lakes of Arkansas.

If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, local Harley Davidson H.O.G. chapters have wednesday night dinner rides and plenty of weekend events. Ditto for the Honda Goldwing Chapters. If you crave more action, its a short ride to the Ft. Worth Stockyards and Billy Bobs, or a tour of the West End or Dallas' lower Greenville Avenue.
